About the position
The Sense and Warn Field Service Representative (FSR) is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, servicing, and repairing ground and air-based radar systems. This role involves conducting emergency maintenance, documenting all inspections and repairs, and ensuring adequate inventory for radar operations. The FSR must work effectively with minimal supervision and interact professionally with various organizational levels.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, service, and repair ground and air-based radar systems.
- Conduct emergency maintenance and repairs as required.
- Document all inspections, repairs, and services performed.
- Monitor consumption of materials and maintain adequate inventory for radar operations.
Requirements
- Four years of relevant experience or combined education in maintaining and repairing air-based and ground-based radar systems or similar systems.
- Knowledge and experience in executing maintenance, service, troubleshooting, and repair of radar systems.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner.
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows operating systems and office automation software (e.g., Microsoft Office, SharePoint).
- Secret Security Clearance required.
