About the position

The Chief of Cybersecurity at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) is responsible for overseeing the Cybersecurity Program, ensuring compliance with federal laws and policies, and safeguarding ODNI's information systems. This role involves strategic planning, implementation of cybersecurity processes, and collaboration across various intelligence community sectors to enhance cybersecurity measures and promote a Zero Trust Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for the ODNI's Cybersecurity Program.
• Ensure compliance with federal and Intelligence Community cybersecurity regulations.
• Develop and implement ODNI's security policy and technical requirements for system operations.
• Monitor and assess the security of ODNI systems continuously.
• Collaborate with various ODNI components and external stakeholders on cybersecurity initiatives.
• Deliver comprehensive briefings on cybersecurity issues to diverse audiences.

Requirements

• Must be a current permanent ODNI employee or a current permanent Federal employee.
• Superior leadership and management skills with experience leading a diverse workforce.
• Expert knowledge of ODNI's information technology security environment and business requirements.
• Expert knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and Risk Management Framework.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

• CISSP, Security+, or similar cybersecurity-related certification.
