About the position

As an OEM Account Executive at Copeland, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and managing customer relationships within the HVACR and refrigeration sectors. Your primary responsibilities will include growing sales, enhancing customer satisfaction, and developing new business opportunities. You will be the key point of contact for assigned OEM accounts, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved promptly. This position requires a deep understanding of the products offered under the White-Rodgers and Sensi brands, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Meet / exceed the annual sales target by managing open issues, capturing new business opportunities with existing and new customers, and building / enhancing key relationships within the accounts.
  • Understand the customer's product plans to provide relevant information to engineering, marketing, and product planning groups.
  • Fully understand our products and their features and benefits to provide solutions to our customers.
  • Generate monthly sales forecasts using our forecasting process and meet deadlines for forecast submittals.
  • Maintain and support the monthly reporting system; submit reports and customer information in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a university or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of two years in HVACR / Industrial / Building Materials sales or related work experience.
  • Working knowledge of the markets, products, customers, and competitors in the HVACR and Refrigeration industry.
  • Experience getting products through a complex customer approval process.
  • Working knowledge of Refrigeration and HVACR Systems and Components.
  • Proven experience managing customer communications and meeting needs in a timely manner.
  • Proven business communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business or an advanced degree (Master of Business Administration or Master's in Engineering).
  • Five to ten years in HVACR / Industrial / Building Materials sales or related work experience.
