About the position
The OEM Key Account Specialist / Inside Sales Representative plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer support by processing order requests and managing shipments. This position emphasizes customer communication and ensures accurate and timely deliveries, making it essential for maintaining strong relationships with distributors and accounts.
Responsibilities
- Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and accurate communication with distributors, accounts, outside sales force, and leadership.
- Ensure prompt and complete entry of all sales orders, warranties, stock rotations, return authorizations, credits, and debits in SAP.
- Work closely with various departments including product development, demand planning, finance, sales leadership, distribution, customs, and logistics.
- Coordinate with logistics to ensure all shipments leave on time and communicate any delays or shortages to accounts.
- Send all packing lists, invoices, and shipping documents as per account requirements.
- Maintain account records including price lists, pricing, order forms, and contact information.
- Prepare dealer-specific reports based on set requirements and routing guides.
- Utilize data to analyze and process sales, follow up on orders, and inquire about issues and delays.
- Ensure high levels of communication and quick response times with customers.
- Perform daily order maintenance including open order reports and customer service tasks.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Business, Communications, or related field desirable; or two years of experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
- SAP experience desirable.
- Knowledge of International Shipping Process desirable.
