The role also involves coordinating market segment programs and attending trade shows to enhance visibility and engagement with potential clients. The candidate will be expected to handle customer orders, complaints, and requests for information efficiently, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Additionally, the Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for acquiring in-depth knowledge of users and distribution personnel to preserve existing business relationships and facilitate the introduction of new products. Maintaining effective records is essential for planning and follow-up activities, and the candidate will support organizational goals by collecting and communicating information related to competitive manufacturers, their products, and the major accounts they manage.

Responsibilities

  • Identify market, competitive, and segment issues and opportunities in the assigned territory.
  • Formulate a business plan and introduce sales initiatives that address or capitalize on situations and opportunities.
  • Identify sales opportunities and recommend effective strategies for conversion.
  • Maintain professional relationships with key personnel to foster trust and influence opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering.
  • Experience in the industrial market, specifically selling to industrial OEMs.

  • Base salary range of $110K to $130K depending on location.
