About the position

The OEM Sourcing Lead at Samsara is responsible for managing and enhancing relationships with industry-leading OEM partners. This role involves collaborating with Product Management and other stakeholders to drive commercial relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee the full lifecycle of partner agreements. The position is pivotal in shaping the future of Samsara's integrations within the Internet of Things (IoT) space, focusing on procurement and strategic alliances.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations with OEM partners to establish and renew contracts.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle, including initiation and renewal of partnerships.
• Collaborate with Product Management and internal stakeholders to align on integration strategies.
• Oversee partner relationship management to ensure successful collaboration and outcomes.
• Analyze market trends and partner performance to inform sourcing strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering).
• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or strategic partnerships.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
• Familiarity with Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and OEM partnerships.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision making.
