About the position

Charles June Karate is seeking Teacher's Aids for their afterschool program, providing an opportunity to gain experience working with children. The role involves engaging with students, assisting with homework, and ensuring they participate in scheduled activities, all while fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and engage with children during the hours of 2-6pm
• Drive a van to pick up children from local schools (must be 21 or older to drive)
• Help children with homework
• Ensure children get to scheduled karate classes on time
• Lead and monitor students in afternoon activities and playtime
• Perform light cleaning chores

Requirements

• Available during 2-6pm at least 3 days per week
• Over 21 preferred
• Interest in and willingness to learn about children
• Positive personality
