About the position

As a Senior Manager/Associate Director in Development/Sales Operations at Accenture, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing sales outcomes for the firm. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, providing them with the necessary insights and strategies to improve their sales performance. You will lead and support key sales excellence programs within an organizational unit, working closely with sales leadership and teams to develop effective sales strategies and drive the adoption of performance metrics, tools, and processes. Your role will involve organizing and orchestrating activities across the Sales Excellence team, ensuring that all efforts align with the overall business objectives. In this position, you will build credible relationships with senior leaders, gaining a deep understanding of their business and sales objectives. You will utilize standard tools and assets to generate insights that will help refine sales strategies and deliver desired outcomes. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing the delivery of the sales excellence experience and contributing to the design and implementation of service improvements. Collaboration will be key, as you will work across various functional teams within Sales Excellence, as well as with practitioners and other corporate functions. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating the efforts of the Sales Excellence team, ensuring that they effectively support a Market Unit or similarly complex organization. Mastery of the Sales Excellence Offering Catalog and service model will be essential, as you will need to match these offerings to the specific business needs of your stakeholders. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to driving sales excellence across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders to improve sales outcomes.
  • Lead and support key sales excellence programs within an organizational unit.
  • Work directly with sales leadership and teams to develop strategies and sales acumen.
  • Drive adoption of sales performance metrics, tools, and processes.
  • Organize and orchestrate Sales Excellence team member activities across offerings.
  • Build credible relationships with senior business leaders to understand their objectives.
  • Generate insights and outlook for stakeholders to refine sales strategy.
  • Oversee the delivery of the sales excellence experience and implement service improvements.
  • Collaborate with Sales, practitioners, and other Corporate Functions.
  • Develop, manage, and coordinate the efforts of the Sales Excellence team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in sales support, sales, or offer development.
  • Experience in the Products or Resources industry is a plus.
  • Offer Development experience is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of sales processes and tools used at Accenture.
  • Knowledge of Accenture's business model, pricing strategy, and profitability levers.
