About the position

The M365 Cloud Applications Engineer at the American Cancer Society is responsible for overseeing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions and Power Platform applications. This remote role focuses on driving the adoption of RPA technologies, designing automation solutions, and managing SharePoint and Teams environments to enhance operational efficiencies and improve client experiences.

Responsibilities

• Leverage expertise in RPA technologies and the Power Platform to drive adoption and improve client experience.
• Design new automation solutions for operational efficiencies using Azure and the Power Platform.
• Implement a Power Platform Center of Excellence to manage solutions lifecycle and development.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure quality and reliability of solutions.
• Manage SharePoint and Teams sites, including configuration, custom features deployment, and backups.
• Conduct service management to ensure server speed, updates, and data security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 10 years of experience in application development.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining RPA solutions using Power Platform, Nintex, or other automation solutions.
• 3 years of experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining Power Platform applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
• Strong knowledge of the Power Platform Center of Excellence model and best practices for governance, security, and administration.
• Proficient in using Azure services such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure Active Directory.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong proven Software Engineering experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in RPA and/or Power Platform is a plus.
• Experience building RESTful microservices and APIs.
• AD administration experience.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control.
• Foundational knowledge of O365 platform and Azure AD.
• Proficient in creating PowerShell scripts.
