As an Office Admin, you will be responsible for performing a variety of general administrative and office operations support activities. This role may involve serving as the office receptionist, greeting visitors, determining the nature of their business, and notifying the appropriate staff member while ensuring that office security measures are followed correctly. You will prepare routine correspondence, office forms, and other business-related documents, and perform data entry and retrieval functions daily. Additionally, you will handle accounts payable and receivable duties, manage incoming and outgoing mail, and coordinate service parts ordering for windows and exterior doors. You may also be tasked with office supply inventory and replenishment services, arranging meetings and conferences, maintaining calendars, and making travel reservations. It is essential to understand and observe all safety procedures and practices to prevent injury to yourself or co-workers, attend periodic safety meetings as required, and recommend changes to improve safety procedures. Other duties may be assigned as necessary, and this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • One (1) year of administrative or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to carry out written or oral instructions with common sense understanding.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
