About the position

Kgriff Investigations is seeking an Office Administrative Assistant and Personal Assistant to the CEO to join our dynamic team in Houston, TX. This role is essential in supporting the CEO and ensuring the smooth operation of our busy office environment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress setting and will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks that require exceptional organizational skills and a strong work ethic. The position demands a proactive individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to being a team player. As an Office Administrative Assistant, you will be tasked with managing schedules, handling correspondence, and assisting with various office duties. You will also be expected to prioritize tasks effectively to meet the demands of the day. The role requires flexibility, as you may need to take occasional calls from the CEO during nights and weekends. Our offices are located in both Houston and Cypress, and you will be required to rotate between these locations as needed. The working hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the possibility of extended hours based on workload. While this position does not offer traditional benefits, you will gain invaluable experience working alongside a highly respected leader in the private investigation industry. Responsibilities

  • Assist the CEO with administrative tasks and personal scheduling.
  • Manage office correspondence and communications.
  • Organize and maintain files and records.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
  • Handle customer service inquiries and support.
  • Rotate between Houston and Cypress offices as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of office experience, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a high-stress environment and maintain a positive attitude.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends.
