About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to oversee office operations for our Commercial and Residential Lawn Maintenance division. The role involves providing administrative support and ensuring efficient daily activities within a small office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize scheduling software to manage maintenance schedules for each crew daily
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events
  • Act as the first point of contact to field customer requests and complaints
  • Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and organizing documents
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
  • Prepare contracts and proposals for commercial and residential customers
  • Utilize computerized systems for data entry and record keeping

Requirements

  • Proven experience in office administration or related field
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and office equipment
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks software is a plus
  • Strong clerical skills with attention to detail
  • Previous experience in landscaping/lawn maintenance is a plus but not required

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in customer service (1 year preferred)
