About the position

The Office Administrative Assistant at Buyers Edge Platform plays a crucial role in defining office culture and ensuring smooth operations within the Waltham, MA office. This hybrid position involves greeting visitors, managing office supplies, coordinating events, and supporting new hires, all while fostering a positive and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars and office conference room space using Outlook Calendars.
  • Keep the office up to date and stocked, including visitor greetings on TVs, ordering office and kitchen supplies, and reaching out to building maintenance when needed.
  • Order, set up, and take down staff lunch every Tuesday and send out invites in advance for accurate headcount.
  • Event management including coordinating all staff special event celebrations and hosting employee events such as Friendsgiving and Halloween parties.
  • Prepare for new hires with key cards, desk space, welcome bags, and more.
  • Keep the office informed of any issues with the building, parking lot, or related issues using Outlook and Teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of related experience
  • College degree preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Background in either restaurants or events is preferred
  • Office Management background is preferred.
