About the position

Inland Products Inc (IPI) is seeking a Full-Time Office Administrator to support its small family-owned business. The role requires strong organizational and time management skills, along with familiarity in accounting. The Office Administrator will handle various tasks that include filing, record keeping, phone management, and accounting support, ensuring smooth operations within the office.

Responsibilities

  • Perform organization and filing tasks
  • Manage phone communications
  • Handle bank deposits and mail runs
  • Maintain employee files and manage unemployment and insurance benefits
  • Oversee auto insurance coverage for the fleet
  • Coordinate events
  • Manage petty cash and corporate credit card transactions
  • Prepare and manage expense reports
  • Handle contract management of vendors
  • Provide accounting and clerical support to management
  • Type accurately and perform data entry
  • Maintain accounting and other company documents and records
  • Assist and support all company personnel
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience with organization and filing tasks
  • Familiarity with accounting practices
  • Competency in QuickBooks (both Desktop and Online versions)
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Strong grammar and spelling skills
  • Ability to type accurately and perform data entry
  • Aptitude for numbers
  • Reliable transportation for company-related tasks
