About the position

The Office Administrator/Construction Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing office operations and supporting project coordination for a hardscape installation company. This full-time position involves a variety of administrative tasks, including bookkeeping, task management, and customer service, all aimed at ensuring smooth project execution and a positive client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Light bookkeeping and task management
  • Tracking project installation and coordination
  • Reception duties including answering phones
  • Processing purchase orders and customer payments
  • Scheduling estimates and following up with clients
  • Maintaining organized company files (digital & analogue)
  • Ensuring a professional office appearance and experience for clients
  • Developing and documenting policies and procedures for office operations

Requirements

  • 2+ years of office experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Proficient in Google Applications (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google AdWords, Google Management)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills
  • Strong problem analysis and solving skills
  • Detail-oriented, efficient, and organized
  • Friendly, positive, can-do service attitude
  • Resourceful in project completion
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
