About the position

Chartwells K12 is seeking a dedicated and organized Office Administrator to join our team at Orchard View Public Schools and Holton Public Schools. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our unit office, which includes overseeing various administrative functions, personnel management, and maintaining compliance with operational standards. The Office Administrator will play a key role in managing office operations, including the upkeep of operating cost records, associate files, and compliance documentation. This position requires a proactive individual who can maintain organization and efficiency while supporting the overall goals of Chartwells K12. In this role, the Office Administrator will be responsible for auditing cash transactions, preparing financial statements, and generating weekly, monthly, and annual reports for management review. The successful candidate will coordinate with other departments within the operation and will be knowledgeable about sector-support departments in the corporate office. Additionally, the Office Administrator will provide recommendations for the selection and performance management of associates, ensuring that staffing, service, and financial standards are met while continuously seeking ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs. The work schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, providing a consistent and structured work environment. Responsibilities

  • Oversees general operation of the unit office, including upkeep of operating cost records and associate files.
  • Ensures staffing, service, and financial standards are met while improving efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Audits cash transactions and prepares financial statements.
  • Prepares weekly, monthly, and annual reports for management review.
  • Coordinates with other departments within the operation and is knowledgeable of sector-support departments in the corporate office.
  • Provides recommendations for the selection and performance management of associates.
  • Attends staff and management team meetings.
  • Inventories and maintains office supplies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous administrative experience is preferred but not required.
