About the position

Under direct supervision, the Office Administrator I provides sales and customer service activities and order entry. This role involves entering orders into the system, scheduling delivery of products, and ensuring that productivity goals are met. The administrator must understand and observe all safety procedures to prevent injury to themselves or co-workers and may recommend changes to improve safety procedures. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Provides customer service and order data entry.
  • Enters orders into system and schedules delivery of products.
  • Plans and paces own work efficiency in order to meet daily, weekly, project, or team related productivity goals.
  • Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Six (6) months sales-related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
