About the position

The Office Administrator I at RWD Consulting LLC plays a crucial role in providing analytical and advisory services within the Resource Management Unit of the Office of Antiterrorism Assistance. This position is responsible for managing daily office operations, ensuring efficiency, and supporting the Unit's objectives through effective administrative management.

Responsibilities

  • Independently direct a broad range of Unit activities involving supply and property management, mail and file services, equipment maintenance, and IT services support.
  • Serve as key coordinator for the efficiency and effectiveness of Unit operations, advising management on organizational policies and plans.
  • Track deadlines and assigned Unit taskers, delegating to personnel and liaising with senior management as needed.
  • Direct and monitor the flow of operations-related documents, preparing and editing organizational charts, memos, and reports.
  • Coordinate the Weekly Activity Report, ensuring timely and thorough deliverables.
  • Manage the Unit Chief's schedule and additional Unit calendars, assisting in daily planning and operations.
  • Oversee in- and out-processing of Unit personnel, including workspace and access control management.
  • Support security protocols, lead visitor escort, and manage classified document handling.
  • Oversee time and attendance records for direct-hire government employees using WebTATEL software.
  • Participate in meetings, providing advice on administrative support topics and capturing detailed meeting notes.
  • Chair and lead working groups pertinent to administrative operations, representing the organization as needed.
  • Make recommendations to improve organizational efficiency and employee morale, implementing changes where appropriate.
  • Keep abreast of Department policies and recommend methods for implementation and enforcement.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen and possess or be able to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance.
  • Associates degree or three years of increasingly responsible administrative experience may be substituted for education.
  • Must be organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of office policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated thorough knowledge of Microsoft applications (MS Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience working with databases is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently.
