About the position

Vanguard Cleaning Systems of Northern California is seeking an Office Administrator/Marketing Assistant to join our Walnut Creek, CA regional office. This full-time position is ideal for an individual who thrives in a friendly office environment and enjoys providing high-level marketing, administrative duties, and customer service support. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting and developing sales activities, providing inside customer service for the Northern California region, and assisting the Regional Director and the President of the Company in achieving overall objectives to enhance the success of the office. In this multi-faceted role, you will be responsible for supporting the sales team by providing marketing assistance for accounts cleaned by Vanguard® Franchised Janitorial Businesses. You will drive referrals and Google reviews through an existing account base and assist with marketing support for new account opportunities by delivering top-level customer service. Additionally, you will produce letters, marketing materials, and sales support documents as needed, coordinate contract administration, and maintain the contact management database. Your contributions will be vital in helping the Regional Director and President achieve regional objectives, making this a rewarding position for someone who enjoys being part of a team and contributing to the growth of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Support sales activities for the sales team
  • Provide marketing and support for accounts cleaned by Vanguard® Franchised Janitorial Businesses
  • Drive referrals and Google reviews through an existing account base
  • Assist with marketing support for new account opportunities by providing top-level customer service support
  • Produce letters, marketing materials, and sales support documents as needed
  • Produce monthly report documents
  • Coordinate contract administration
  • Maintain contact management database
  • Assist the Regional Director and President of the Company in achieving regional objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience in Office Management, Customer Service, or Office Administration environment
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint a plus)
  • Possess a helpful and positive friendly attitude necessary to deal effectively with many types of personalities.
