About the position

Join Our Team as an Office Administrator in our Babylon, NY location. Are you polished, reliable, and ready to take charge of a dynamic real estate sales office? We are seeking a full-time Office Administrator for our Babylon office. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize daily operations with minimal supervision, we want to hear from you! As an Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, managing various tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our team. In this role, you will be responsible for opening and closing the office daily, coordinating office activities to ensure compliance with company policies, and managing communications, schedules, deliveries, inventory, vendors, and events. You will also provide assistance to customers and agents, process listings and closings using our digital platform, and offer light orientation and training to agents. Marketing and social media experience is a plus, and proficiency in the CANVA graphic design tool is a strong advantage. We are looking for someone with proven experience as an administrative assistant, office assistant, or in a similar role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and leadership abilities, and familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles are essential. Being tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite is required, and experience with InDesign and knowledge of MLS systems for entering and editing listings will be beneficial. A general knowledge of the real estate industry will also be advantageous as you navigate this dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Open and close the office daily
  • Coordinate office activities to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant, office assistant, or in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • Experience with InDesign is a benefit
  • Knowledge of MLS systems for entering and editing listings
  • General knowledge of the real estate industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • At least 1 year in Real Estate / Administrative roles (required)
