About the position

The Office Administrator & Receptionist at Century Communities is responsible for overseeing administrative functions and front desk operations at the Corporate Office. This role is essential for ensuring efficient office management, fostering collaborative relationships, and supporting various departments within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily administrative operations for efficient office management.
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with managers and colleagues to become a trusted and essential support within the office.
  • Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders to ensure smooth operations and cost-effectiveness.
  • Liaise with facility management vendors and oversee the maintenance and repair of office equipment and facilities.
  • Manage office and cubicle move requests promptly and coordinate to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Coordinate new hire seating arrangements with the IT department and hiring managers and prepare workspaces accordingly.
  • Assist in sorting and delivering mail and packages efficiently.
  • Provide support to other departments with overflow tasks as needed.
  • Assist in executing company events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Ensure lobby areas are open daily and verify that designated conference rooms and kitchens are stocked with beverages and snacks, maintaining cleanliness as required.
  • Provide daily breaks for front desk reception staff, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Benefits

  • Base pay range of $27 - $29 per hour, plus an annual bonus, commission, sales bonus, occasional incentive or quarterly bonus, whichever is applicable.
