As the Strategic Business Office Administrator (SBOA) at Day Wireless Systems, you will play a vital role in supporting our Strategic Business Division through various administrative functions. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including billing and collections, customer service, and inventory control. Your versatility and organizational skills will be key to ensuring smooth operations within the division. The typical work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with the possibility of occasional overtime depending on the company's needs. In this position, you will be expected to stay organized and handle multiple tasks efficiently, even under pressure, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Effective communication is essential, and you will facilitate this through phone calls, emails, and team collaboration, ensuring that all correspondence is professional and courteous. You will also manage phone calls outside of regular hours by transferring them to the answering service. Your role will include providing comprehensive administrative support, which involves document preparation, data entry, and creating presentations. You will take meeting notes for documentation purposes and ensure accurate and prompt data entry for various records, such as payroll hours, orders, warranties, sales, and invoices. Additionally, you will manage cash, credit cards, and expenses, maintaining a balance between billable and payroll hours. You will coordinate service calls, pickups, and deliveries for technicians and support personnel, generate and analyze reports related to sales, purchases, expenses, and inventory, and oversee inventory management and ordering of parts and office supplies. Collaboration with other Service Office Administrators will be necessary for certain tasks. Furthermore, you will handle additional responsibilities such as drafting marketing materials, attending meetings, or working on special projects as assigned. Other functions may include receiving incoming shipments, preparing outgoing shipments, and performing errands such as purchasing money orders or visiting the post office or bank as needed.
