Tuvli, an Akima company, is seeking an Office Administrator to provide essential support to our Department of State (DoS) client in Washington, DC. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the office and involves a variety of management and program support tasks. The Office Administrator will be responsible for planning, research, analysis, and correspondence control, as well as acting as a liaison for the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director. The position may also involve managing special projects or events, such as town hall meetings and other bureau meetings, which require strong organizational skills and attention to detail. In this role, the Office Administrator will oversee all correspondence for the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director, determining the best course of action for each item. This includes discerning which items can be handled personally, forwarding others, and assigning tasks to appropriate staff members. The Office Administrator will also be responsible for developing systems to control records on all incoming correspondence and action documents, ensuring timely follow-up and easy retrieval of documents. Additionally, the Office Administrator will coordinate the office's schedule and day-to-day plans, manage Time and Attendance (T&A) reports, and perform duties as an alternate Unit Security Officer. The role requires arranging appointments and meetings with various stakeholders, including counterparts in the Department of State and other federal agencies. The Office Administrator will also ensure compliance with federal regulations regarding records management and scheduling, and will plan and implement travel arrangements for the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director, including obtaining necessary clearances and visas.
