About the position

The Office Administrator position is a customer-facing role located near downtown Columbus, OH, requiring at least 2 years of experience. The primary focus is on providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks in a fully onsite environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls.
  • Organize and schedule appointments.
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
  • Process prepayments.
  • Develop and maintain a filing system.
  • Provide customer service above and beyond client expectations.
  • Ensure optimum customer service at all phases of contact.
  • Maintain and promote professional and courteous client relations by managing a prompt and accurate response to telephone and email communications.
  • Perform duties for the owners at an urgent level.
  • Assume and perform other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined but which are logically and properly inherent to the position.
  • Maintain a positive, cheerful approach to all internal and external clients.
  • Handle multiple projects.
  • Print out and prepare travel documents to be mailed out or picked up.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using office software and equipment.
