About the position

TEMA Furniture is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to support daily operations. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth processing of completed customer orders, managing payroll, and providing general office administration support.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
  • Manage accounts payable, including processing vendor payments and reconciling bank records.
  • Process completed customer orders.
  • Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Reconcile financial records and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Oversee office supply inventory and coordinate reorders as needed.
  • Provide reception support, greeting visitors and handling inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Handle correspondence, including emails and phone calls, ensuring timely responses.
  • Provide employees with reports related to pay.
  • Maintain records, documentation, and files, including employee files.
  • Assist with other administrative duties as assigned by the executive team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative role or as an office clerk is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office programs and office management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
