About the position

Lyon Real Estate, a leading real estate company in the Greater Sacramento Region, is looking for dynamic and flexible individuals to fill the role of Office Administrator. This full-time position is based at one of our branch offices in Sacramento, where you will be an integral part of our team. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured environment that allows for a balanced work-life experience. As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the daily operations of the office. Your role will involve performing general office duties such as answering phones, greeting visitors and agents, and providing essential information to clients and staff. You will also handle mail distribution, order office supplies, and manage data entry and filing tasks. Additionally, you will process real estate listings and sales using the MLS and other internal programs, manage advertising requests, and assist in the orientation of new agents. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent communication skills. You should be detail-oriented and capable of interacting effectively with a diverse range of personalities, including the public, real estate sales agents, and office staff. Your ability to multitask and prioritize will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the office. Furthermore, you will provide administrative support to the branch office manager and help coordinate office events, making your role vital to the overall success of our team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general office duties including answering phones and greeting visitors.
  • Provide general information and assist agents and clients as needed.
  • Manage mail distribution and order office supplies.
  • Conduct data entry, filing, and prepare correspondence.
  • Process real estate listings and sales using MLS and other internal programs.
  • Handle advertising requests and order signs for listings.
  • Process agent documents and conduct new agent orientation.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating office events.
  • Provide administrative support to the branch office manager as directed.
  • Maintain petty cash and operate a multi-line phone and paging system.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative, general office, or sales support role.
  • Proficient with MLS, MS Office programs, Google Suite, and social media platforms.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new programs quickly and troubleshoot common issues.
  • Experience in the Real Estate industry is a strong plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Team-oriented, friendly, and outgoing personality.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Google Suite (1 year preferred).
  • Experience in Residential Real Estate (1 year preferred).
  • Experience with Social Media (1 year required).
