This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the relationships and correspondence between our customers, operations teams, and independent contractors. The successful candidate will assist the Home Delivery Administration and Operations teams in executing their responsibilities effectively, ensuring that all processes and procedures are followed meticulously. The role involves receiving and responding to customer, client, and independent contractor inquiries via phone and email, ensuring that all communications are handled promptly and professionally. You will be responsible for liaising with the Central Office to address customer relations issues, researching orders, and resolving any location-related challenges. Additionally, you will oversee the full cycle of the Bill of Lading (BOL) process, which includes following up on previous day’s BOLs, updating delivery dates for reschedules, preparing for the next day’s deliveries, and filing completed BOLs. Your responsibilities will also include printing and filing service orders, entering notes and additional information into our systems, and collaborating with the Warehouse Manager on customer orders. You will assist in printing daily manifests, organizing routes for the following day, and managing returns. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and excellent organizational skills to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
