About the position

K.P. Kauffman Company, Inc. is seeking an Office Administrator to join our team in Fort Lupton, Colorado. As an independently owned Oil & Gas company, we are dedicated to ethical production, drilling, transportation, and well service of oil and gas in the Rocky Mountain States and several basins. The Office Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the field office with a variety of general administrative duties. This position encompasses responsibilities in light human resources, accounting, compliance, and data management, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. The Office Administrator will be responsible for data entry, scanning charts, and preparing invoices, including some coding of invoices for payment. Maintaining confidentiality of both current and former employees and their records is paramount. The role also involves assisting with new hire and termination paperwork, maintaining employee records, and supporting payroll timekeeping records by collecting timesheets and calculating payroll data. Additionally, the Office Administrator will professionally answer phones and direct calls accordingly, prepare and submit compliance reports as required by DOT, OSHA, and other governmental agencies, and provide a full range of administrative, clerical, and facility support as needed. To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess effective verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational and time management abilities, and the capacity to analyze and solve problems. The ability to work as a team player and interact comfortably with individuals at all organizational levels is essential. Attention to detail, advanced 10-key and typing skills, and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) are also required. The Office Administrator will utilize various materials and equipment, including computers, word processing software, spreadsheets, Outlook, scanners, and copiers.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher
  • 2 years of administrative experience
