This position will be relocating from Springfield, VA to Chantilly, VA before the end of 2024. We are seeking an Office Administrator for our Springfield office to support our National Products, National Capitol Region, and Analysis & Technical Services Program contracts. The Office Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring that our employees, who are the Subject Matter Experts working on research and development teams, have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively. This includes resolving issues related to facilities, equipment, and resources, as well as ensuring that our guests, including government representatives and contractors, have a positive experience at our facility. Collaboration is key to managing a successful office, and the Office Administrator will need to work closely with Security, Program Managers, and the Administrative Lead for our group in Cocoa Beach, FL. Effective communication is essential, as the Office Administrator will keep Program Managers informed of any situations, problems, or personnel issues that require assistance. Regular feedback on the office environment and morale will also be provided to ensure a positive workplace culture. Accountability is a critical aspect of this role, as the Office Administrator will ensure that assigned tasks are thoroughly completed, personnel have the resources they need, and that priorities are understood and followed. Taking initiative to improve the workplace environment is encouraged, including soliciting input from management and employees for potential improvements. Primary duties and responsibilities include supporting employee onboarding, coordinating meetings, managing travel arrangements, promoting internal communication, managing software licenses, overseeing computer assets, and ensuring proper facility management. The Office Administrator will also be responsible for producing purchase requisitions, completing expense reports, and serving as the point of contact for employee office supplies and needs.
