About the position

The Office Administrator at Wild Salmon Center plays a crucial role in supporting the operational and social needs of the organization. This part-time position focuses on ensuring the efficient day-to-day operations of the Portland office, particularly in managing office equipment, IT services, and staff communications. The role is integral to maintaining a functional and accessible office environment while also supporting team events and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Function as point of contact for all facilities, office equipment, IT services, maintenance contract, and plant scaping
  • Oversee purchasing of all computer equipment
  • Manage software licenses including but not limited to Zoom, Adobe, Microsoft Office, Google, Razors Edge, Financial Edge, and Concur
  • Function as point of contact between staff's IT needs and IT support vendor
  • Assist with onboarding of all new employees with their IT needs
  • Maintain all meeting room monitors and tablets
  • Maintain staff communications including but not limited to WSC's answering service, administrative email lists, staff contacts, general communications, and business cards
  • Maintain stock of office & kitchen supplies
  • Support the organization's team/employee events, holiday parties, staff retreats, happy hours, and family get-togethers
  • Ensure a physical office space that is accessible, organized and functional for all
  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned
