About the position

The Office Administrator at Direct Connect Logistix is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the headquarters. This role involves managing administrative activities, coordinating office services, and supporting various departments to create an organized and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling correspondence.
  • Coordinate office supplies, inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems (electronic and paper).
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist in planning company events, meetings, and team-building activities.
  • Ensure facilities are well-maintained and liaise with building management.
  • Support onboarding processes and assist the HR team as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in office administration or similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with logistics or related industries is a plus.
