About the position

As an Office Administrator at Compass, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers in the office, ensuring a welcoming environment and smooth operations. Your role will involve managing office logistics, supporting customer inquiries, and facilitating the adoption of Compass technology. You will also assist with marketing requests and collaborate with various teams to enhance the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and manage mail distribution.
  • Facilitate in-office event setup and provide first-line support for office-related needs.
  • Maintain the overall appearance and organization of the office, including supply inventory.
  • Field questions and resolve issues for a small portfolio of customers via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Support the adoption of Compass technology by providing 1:1 customer support.
  • Assist the National Onboarding team with onboarding processes for new customers.
  • Provide basic marketing support and act as a liaison to marketing specialists.
  • Collaborate with team members to address questions and feedback from agents.
  • Troubleshoot basic technology issues and provide ad-hoc administrative assistance as needed.
  • Inspire and empower colleagues with a positive approach to creating change.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, office management, hospitality, or operations.
  • Experience in real estate is a plus.
  • Familiarity with enterprise technology such as Zendesk, Salesforce, and Confluence is a plus.
  • Strong listening skills and empathy for customer pain points.
  • Passion for creating community and encouraging in-office interaction.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Ability to work in the office during standard operating hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in real estate.
  • Experience with enterprise technology (Zendesk, Salesforce, Confluence).
