About the position

Machine Plus LLC is a high-quality, custom to medium production CNC machine shop located in De Pere, WI. We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing office operations, providing administrative support, and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day activities. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency of our office environment and supporting our team in various administrative tasks. As an Office Administrator, you will oversee office procedures and ensure they are being followed efficiently. You will manage the office supplies inventory, coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. Additionally, you will assist with human resources tasks such as onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records. Your role will also involve handling vendor management and maintaining relationships with suppliers, which is essential for our operations. You will perform general clerical duties including data entry, filing, and document preparation. Managing phone systems, answering calls, and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will assist with training development for new employees and maintain office calendars and schedules to ensure that all activities are organized and efficient. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in office administration or a similar role
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Experience in vendor management and procurement processes
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Proficient in calendar management and scheduling tools
  • Proficient in or knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Nice-to-haves

  • Microsoft Office experience (3 years preferred)
  • Administrative experience (1 year preferred)
