About the position

As an Office Administrator at Compass, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting the office, ensuring a welcoming environment and smooth office operations. Your role involves managing office logistics, supporting customer inquiries, and facilitating the adoption of Compass technology, all while delivering exceptional service and fostering a positive office culture.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and manage mail distribution.
  • Facilitate in-office event setup and provide first-line support for office-related needs.
  • Maintain the overall appearance and organization of the office, including supply inventory management.
  • Field questions and resolve issues for a small portfolio of customers via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Support the adoption of Compass technology by providing 1:1 customer support.
  • Partner with the National Onboarding team to facilitate onboarding processes for new customers.
  • Provide basic marketing support by creating collateral and liaising with marketing specialists.
  • Collaborate with team members to champion questions and feedback on behalf of agents.
  • Answer basic questions and troubleshoot issues related to technology and enterprise systems.
  • Provide ad-hoc administrative assistance, including sales meeting preparation and data entry.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, office management, hospitality, or operations.
  • Experience in real estate is a plus.
  • Familiarity with enterprise technology such as Zendesk, Salesforce, and Confluence is a plus.
  • Strong listening skills and empathy for customer pain points.
  • Passion for creating community and encouraging in-office interaction.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Ability to work in the office during standard operating hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in real estate.
  • Experience with enterprise technology (Zendesk, Salesforce, Confluence).
