About the position

AimHire is seeking a temporary Office Administrator to join their global partner's team in Denver, CO. This role is designed for individuals looking for a career opportunity that emphasizes mental health, wellbeing, and a sustainable work-life balance. The position is a contract role lasting 1-2 months, with a pay rate of $22 per hour. The Office Administrator will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the daily operations of the office, ensuring that all administrative functions run smoothly and efficiently. The Office Administrator will sort and distribute incoming mail and shipments from various carriers, prepare outgoing mail, and manage courier pick-ups and drop-offs. This role will also involve maintaining office supplies by checking stock levels, anticipating requirements, and stocking items as needed. Additionally, the administrator will coordinate preventive maintenance for office equipment, troubleshoot failures, and monitor equipment operation to ensure everything is functioning properly. In this position, the Office Administrator will provide basic administrative duties, code vendor invoices, and maintain daily vendor relationships. The role may also include a variety of special projects as assigned, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and be comfortable being on their feet for most of the day, contributing to a positive office environment.

Responsibilities

  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and shipments from all carriers
  • Prepare outgoing mail and shipments
  • Deliver incoming mail to all office employees
  • Manage courier pick-ups and drop-offs
  • Act as a resource in the mailroom to assist employees with any inquiries
  • Maintain office supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipate requirements and stock items
  • Maintain office equipment by coordinating preventive maintenance; troubleshoot failures; call for repairs; monitor equipment operation
  • Provide basic administrative duties as required
  • Code vendor invoices
  • Maintain and manage vendor relationships daily
  • Handle a variety of special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • Associate's degree or equivalent combined education and work experience
  • Previous corporate office experience is a plus
  • Must be comfortable being on your feet most of the day
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Previous experience using MS Office 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Outstanding professionalism while handling any task
