About the position

As an Office Administrator at Compass, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting the office, ensuring a welcoming environment and smooth office operations. Your role involves managing customer inquiries, supporting the adoption of Compass technology, and providing administrative assistance while fostering a positive office culture.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and manage mail distribution.
  • Facilitate in-office event setup and provide first-line support for office-related needs.
  • Maintain the overall appearance and organization of the office, including supply inventory management.
  • Field questions and resolve issues for a small portfolio of customers via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Support the adoption of Compass technology by providing 1:1 customer support.
  • Assist the National Onboarding team with onboarding processes for new customers.
  • Provide basic marketing support by answering questions and creating collateral from templates.
  • Collaborate with team members and departments to address questions and feedback from agents.
  • Troubleshoot basic technology issues related to devices and conference room hardware.
  • Provide ad-hoc administrative assistance such as sales meeting preparation and data entry.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, office management, hospitality, or operations.
  • Previous experience in real estate is a plus.
  • Experience with enterprise technology such as Zendesk, Salesforce, or Confluence is a plus.
  • Strong listening skills and empathy for customer pain points.
  • Passion for creating community and encouraging in-office interaction.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Ability to work in the office during standard operating hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
