About the position

Culligan (Consolidated Water Group) is seeking an individual experienced in customer-focused positions to join our team as a Post Office Administrator. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our customers receive a superior level of service that exceeds their expectations. The customer service representative will work directly with customers to fulfill orders, resolve problems, and attend to related needs. Our product offerings include water softeners, drinking water systems, and solutions for problem water, making this position essential in maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty. In this role, you will be responsible for extensive problem-solving, order processing, and performing standard maintenance of current customer accounts. You will follow company protocols, policies, and goals while acting on opportunities to optimize the efficiency of the department. A key aspect of this position is providing proactive sales support to assigned customer accounts by developing close relationships with the customer base. You will also be tasked with answering customer inquiries on the telephone, scheduling service and delivery orders, and coordinating schedules with the service/operations team. Additionally, you will handle billing for service, delivery, and new installation orders, make outbound calls to current customers with the intent of scheduling additional services or offering maintenance plans, and refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation. Adherence to all rules and regulations pertaining to safety and Culligan policies is mandatory, and you may be assigned other responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Extensive problem-solving and order processing for customer accounts.

  • Follow all safety rules and Culligan policies.
  • Complete any other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum two years of customer service experience preferred.
  • Proper phone etiquette.
  • Strong time management and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
