The Office Administrator will provide essential administrative support to a local HVAC and home repair service company in Austin, TX. This role involves interacting with customers, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth office operations. Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the office staff
  • Speak with customers to address inquiries and concerns
  • Schedule HVAC appointments for technicians
  • Dispatch technicians to job sites
  • Make confirmation phone calls with customers
  • Order repair parts and equipment as needed
  • File equipment and labor warranties
  • Record completed invoices from field technicians
  • Maintain an accurate database of customer and service information
  • Perform minor filing and other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
  • Proficient phone and computer skills
  • Ability to multi-task and solve problems effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Knowledge of the Austin geographical service area is a plus
  • HVAC service background is a plus
