About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to join our team at Robertson Produce of Mississippi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative operations of our office, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle various administrative duties while maintaining a positive and professional office environment. As an Office Administrator, you will perform general office duties such as answering phones, greeting visitors, and responding to emails. You will manage the office supplies inventory, placing orders when necessary to ensure that the office is well-stocked and operational. Additionally, you will coordinate meetings and appointments, maintaining calendars to ensure that all team members are informed and prepared for upcoming events. Your responsibilities will also include assisting in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports, handling vendor management, and communicating with suppliers as needed. You will ensure the efficient operation of office equipment and systems, supporting the scheduling and organization of team meetings. Maintaining organized filing systems, both electronically and physically, will be crucial to your role, as it will help streamline office operations and improve accessibility to important documents.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Ability to manage schedules effectively
  • Experience in vendor management is a plus
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with attention to detail
  • Previous experience as an office clerk or in a similar role is advantageous
  • Capable of managing teams and coordinating tasks efficiently
