About the position

Powers Chimney & Masonry, LLC, a small family-owned masonry company, is seeking a dedicated Office Administrator to join our team. This position can be either full-time or part-time, depending on the candidate's availability. The office is conveniently located above our shop on the property, providing a close-knit working environment where you can contribute to the daily operations of our business. As an Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office and supporting our team in various administrative tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include answering phones and scheduling appointments, filing invoices and receipts, collecting payments, and managing the payment of monthly state taxes. You will also be responsible for communicating with our accountants to ensure that all financial matters are handled efficiently. Additionally, you will oversee the day-to-day office functions, input data into QuickBooks, and manage office supplies to ensure that everything runs smoothly. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of service. We are looking for someone who is not only organized and detail-oriented but also possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
