About the position

The Operations Specialist at Waste Pro is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to departmental managers while assisting in the coordination of daily operations. Completing and maintaining various reports as directed by the department manager is another key responsibility, as it helps in tracking performance and identifying areas for improvement. The Operations Specialist will utilize software tools to manage tasks related to time and attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor, which are vital for operational efficiency. Additionally, the role involves assisting in the implementation of operational projects as needed, communicating with customers about service issues, and coordinating with employees regarding scheduling and work assignments. The position may also require participation in corporation-sponsored training courses to stay updated on current technology and practices relevant to Waste Pro USA.

Responsibilities

  • Creates, distributes, and closes-out customer tickets on a daily basis.
  • Maintains and distributes department related information on a daily basis.
  • Communicates with other supervisors and managers about operations and/or dispatch issues.
  • Completes and maintains a variety of reports as directed by the department manager.
  • Uses software tools to manage a variety of tasks, such as time and attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor.
  • Assists in the implementation of operational projects as needed.
  • Communicates with customers about service issues as needed.
  • Communicates with employees about scheduling and work assignments as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
