About the position

The Administrative and HR Manager will oversee the daily operations of the administrative department and manage human resources activities to ensure legal compliance and the effective implementation of HR strategies. This role focuses on recruitment, employee relations, office management, and policy development, aiming to maintain an efficient office environment while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage office supplies and equipment procurement.
  • Oversee the maintenance of office facilities and infrastructure.
  • Ensure proper functioning of administrative systems, such as filing, record-keeping, and office logistics.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Handle office correspondence, emails, and phone communications.
  • Manage travel arrangements for staff and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and coordinate workplace safety initiatives.
  • Oversee the budget for administrative operations.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, including job posting, interviewing, hiring, and training.
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation.
  • Manage payroll processes and ensure accurate employee compensation.
  • Oversee employee benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, etc.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture by resolving employee issues and promoting employee engagement and development.
  • Conduct performance management processes, including evaluations, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure legal compliance in all areas of human resources and workplace relations (e.g., labor laws, equal opportunity).
  • Oversee employee exit processes and handle offboarding procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Administrative Manager, HR Manager, or similar roles.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and office management software (e.g., MS Office, ERP systems).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate staff.
