About the position

The Office and Mail Clerk position involves managing the shipping and receiving of products and supplies, as well as sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail and faxes. The role includes providing maintenance for copier and customer site equipment, performing various clerical tasks, and supporting building functions such as meeting setups and light maintenance. This is a full-time contract position with a day shift schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Ship and receive products and supplies.
  • Sort, distribute, and handle incoming and outgoing mail and faxes.
  • Apply necessary postage for mail.
  • Provide copier maintenance and repair for customer site equipment.
  • Perform bindery, quality control, and final checks.
  • Handle housekeeping and file services tasks.
  • Act as a call center representative and reception support.
  • Perform various building support functions related to meeting setups and light maintenance.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in using office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and postage machines.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage incoming and outgoing mail effectively.
  • Data entry skills to accurately record information.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of calendar management for scheduling purposes.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a clerk, office assistant, or in a similar role is preferred.
