About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant/Accounting Clerk to join our team at our Ann Arbor location. This full-time position requires a dedicated individual who can perform a variety of administrative and accounting tasks with precision and accuracy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for data entry tasks, ensuring that all information is entered correctly and efficiently. In addition to data entry, the Office Assistant/Accounting Clerk will handle phone calls and inquiries, providing professional and courteous service to clients and visitors. Maintaining organized filing systems for documents and records is also a key responsibility, as is supporting office management in various tasks to ensure smooth operations. The role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting with accounts payable and receivable functions, and supporting the accounting team with administrative tasks as needed. Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is essential, as the candidate will utilize these tools for various accounting tasks. This position is crucial for maintaining the efficiency of our office and ensuring that all accounting functions are carried out effectively. The successful candidate will work a full-time schedule, typically 37.5 to 40 hours per week, in an 8-hour shift format. This role is in-person at our office located at 2500 Packard Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48104, and requires the ability to commute or relocate to this area before starting work.
