Responsibilities

  • Relieve an executive of administrative details and perform related work as required.
  • Act as a liaison between the executive's office and various state departments, agencies, and community organizations.
  • Handle complaints and requests from legislators, citizens, and employees.
  • Attend legislative functions and meetings to gather information.
  • Assign, train, supervise, and evaluate assigned clerical staff.
  • Make recommendations on personnel actions such as employment and promotions.
  • Handle routine and non-routine correspondence and prepare information for meetings.
  • Make travel arrangements and manage expense accounts.
  • Operate standard office machines and equipment as necessary.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree.
  • 4 years of customer service experience.
  • 4 years of data entry experience.
  • 4 years of administrative experience.
  • 4 years of office management experience.
