About the position

A-1 Landscaping and Construction, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Office Assistant/Assistant Project Coordinator to join our civil construction firm located in Snohomish, WA. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $24 to $27, depending on experience. In this role, the Office Assistant will be responsible for managing multiple requests and priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The candidate will be expected to meet deadlines and demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing priorities. Key tasks include answering multiline phones, taking detailed phone records, creating spreadsheets and correspondence, and maintaining project records and filing systems. Additionally, the Office Assistant will drive a company vehicle for business-related errands and provide support to both office and field associates. General office administration duties will encompass a variety of tasks, including printing, scanning, and filing documents. The Office Assistant will also track and assist in the completion of deadlines and follow up on outstanding items to ensure smooth operations within the office. This position requires a proactive individual who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team, while also being able to handle the pressures of tight deadlines and additional responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • AA in business or accounting or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year of experience as an Office Assistant.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat DC and Illustrator is a plus.
  • Good communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively alone and with a team.
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License.
