Office Assistant- Tax Credit Property in Chula Vista

About the position

WSH Management is currently recruiting for an Office Assistant for our 175-unit lease up tax credit apartment community located in Chula Vista, near Franceschi Dr. and Donze Ave. Encelia Cota Vera is located in the master planned community of Cota Vera, the newest village in Otay Ranch. Inspired by the natural beauty of the Otay River Valley. Community offers an elevated new standard for modern living. Centralized amenity spaces include a computer center, game room and lounge, laundry facility, and outdoor sports & leisure facilities that promote well-being, relaxation, and healthy living. This is a full time position, 40 hours per week and is [not] required to live on site.

Responsibilities

• Receive all telephone calls and in-person visits.
• Listen to resident requests, concerns and comments.
• Work closely with Maintenance Technician to ensure work orders are completed.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
• Provide general clerical assistance to community office.
• Secure resident signature(s) on appropriate paperwork, assist in lease transactions, organize resident files in proper Compliance order.

Requirements

• A minimum of one-year experience in a customer service-related industry or one year apartment leasing experience or a combination of accounting skills/education with customer service experience is preferred.
• Competence in operation of telephone, business calculator, copy machine, facsimile, personal computer/keyboard, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and MS Outlook.
• Hard working with the desire to obtain on the job training.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record and provide proof of vehicle insurance.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Must possess strong attention to detail and sales ability.
• Candidates will be required to pass a background and drug screening.
