About the position

The Office Assistant at Power Plus plays a crucial role in supporting the Generator Rental Department by managing administrative tasks such as processing field work orders, inputting contracts, and ensuring accurate billing. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments to meet customer needs. The role is ideal for individuals who excel in multi-tasking and problem-solving within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter field tickets into GensPlus (proprietary software) in a timely manner.
  • Assist with putting contracts together, ensuring all billing requirements are accurately noted in the system, and flagging any unusual billing requirements.
  • Conduct all department receiving by inputting PO's into the system.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure customers' needs are communicated accurately across departments.
  • Support Area Manager with other requests as they arise.
  • Conduct oneself professionally with rental technicians, office staff, vendors, and managers.

Requirements

  • One or more years' experience in a clerical or administrative background.
  • Strong PC skills - must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple, different tasks and work accurately with detailed information.
  • Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
