About the position

The Office Clerk position is a part-time role responsible for providing customer service at a specific site within Montgomery County Parks. The clerk will greet visitors, handle phone calls, manage reservations, collect fees, and provide information about the site. This role requires a friendly demeanor and the ability to perform light office and grounds maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Greets visitors and answers incoming calls and emails in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Responsible for fee collection and recording transactions.
  • Responsible for taking reservations.
  • Follows site-specific check-in/check-out procedures for all site activities.
  • Completes light office and grounds maintenance tasks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to work as a team and independently.
  • Must complete and pass a typing skill test.
