Livonia Glatt Market is seeking a dedicated and organized Office Clerk and Cashier to join our team. As an integral part of our operations, you will ensure the smooth functioning of our office and administrative tasks while providing exceptional customer service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys both administrative duties and customer interaction. You will oversee and manage day-to-day office operations, including supervising administrative staff, maintaining and managing office supplies, inventory, and equipment efficiently. Addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive customer experience will be key aspects of your role. You will also coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and events with precision, prepare, manage, and organize correspondence, reports, and various documents, and assist in the development, implementation, and improvement of office policies and procedures. Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations is essential, as is collaborating effectively with department heads and senior management on various projects. Continuously seeking and implementing opportunities to enhance office efficiency and productivity will be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in office management or administrative roles.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and office management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Knowledge of grocery retail operations is an advantage.
